Here we go again.
Remember my fleet week experience last year? Well, here we go again.
In the meantime, in between nursing and dodging Navy planes, I finished my crochet project.
It was boring and is kind of ugly, but it was a great project for using up yarn, and easy to do one-ish handed. So I might make more. I have not been able to knit much more. Just a soaker minus the leg cuffs that the mole has already nearly outgrown and will certainly not fit into by the time i finish the cuffs. And part of a kimono sweater.
I did manage to get that pattern written up and nicely pdfed so that was a small accomplishment.
And here he is in some pants. Probably the last time he'll wear them. Poor kid is heading for second baby syndrome. I whipped up a bunch of baby things for him but now I'm thinking he's going to outgrow them so fast anyway, I may as well wait until he stops growing to make him more stuff.
In other news, I'm now a partner in a kid-friendly cafe opening up here in the East Village. Don't ask how that happened. It's still a blur. But we're opening this month and then maybe I can knit again.
