Motivation

This is my pile of unfinished objects. They're not even big unfinished objects. That's a soaker that is by now, too small but only needs cuffs so I don't want to frog it. But I have no motivation to finish it. Then there's part of a front of a kimono that i started before it turned 400 degrees. I thought it might be useful in summer air conditioning, but since I have no air conditioning. I have no motivation to finish it.

Then there's the soaker that will fit, that yellowy-greeny thing. No particular reason, but I have no motivation to finish it.

I think that lackofmotivation bug is going around. I have it, too. Maybe if enjoyed knitting with cotton or linen, I'd like summer-time knitting.

Who needs motivation when you have a beautiful baby to enjoy! Consider, you can always finish those items later, and give them to a pregnant friend. ;)

I understand lack of motivation. I think its just a summer thang. But I just wanted to let you know that YOUR pile of unfinished objects worked to inspire me to pull out and dust off my own. I'm hoping to pick some of them up in the near future. Thank you!

i am with you on the motivation front. the heat, it zaps the desire for woolly fingers. weird, we have been cool in the west and the east blazing..i shudder to think of july/aug/sept for us. my non-knits stems from the boys, but by the time i can knit we'll have the heat. oh well, there's always next winter.

You know, the soaker would make a nice hat. Sans cuffs, just sew those openings together and attach cute pompoms there. (If grown-up men wear a panta, a little boy can wear pompoms ... right?)
I'm a relentless frogger, so I would frog the red yarn thingy and make myself handwarmers.

it looks pretty all piled up like that! too many FOs is seriously not good. leave it go a bit and revisit later..maybe as baby gifts for someone else. you can spend that energy with your 2 darlins instead..now there's motivation :-)
